Sinopse

BISCOITO is a multimedia, sound, visual and object installation for two performers and no body. A dramaturgy written from commands, centered on words and sound, built for the double image. At the center of this game/training, an exhibition of juxtaposed objects, like doubles: the canine-human dyad in a showcase that aims to activate a discourse on this playful parallel. In this process, language and timbres, human and canine, merge to give rise to a new form of communication that is extra-species. — Joana Magalhães & Mafalda Lencastre/ Plataforma UMA

AMORES PERROS is a prismatic and expanded project conceived by the three co-directors of Plataforma UMA, based on their companionship with their dogs. In PART 1, Mafalda Lencastre and Joana Magalhães simultaneously present two shows — UNDERDOG and MATILHA, respectively — and an installation — BISCOITO.
